Ingredients

  • ½ c Water
  • 4 t Soy sauce, lower sodium
  • ½ c Vinegar, white
  • ½ c Pineapple juice
  • ⅓ c Sugar substitute/sugar blend
  • 2 T Cornstarch

Directions

  1. COMBINE water, soy sauce, vinegar and pineapple juice in a small saucepan.
  2. HEAT on high then WHISK in sugar substitute/sugar blend and cornstarch.
  3. Continue to WHISK and bring to a BOIL.
  4. REDUCE heat to a simmer and HEAT for 5 minutes. REMOVE from heat.
  5. SERVE or STORE in refrigerator. If the sauce gels, REHEAT on the stove until it is liquefied.
