c = cup, T = tablespoon, t = teaspoon, lb = pound, oz = ounce, fl oz = fluid ounce, pkg = package


  • ¼ c Margarine
  • ¼ c Flour
  • 2 c Milk, skim
  • ¼ t Salt
  • 4 c Peas, frozen
  • ¼ t Pepper


  1. In a medium pot over medium heat, MELT margarine.
  2. WHISK in flour until smooth.
  3. ADD milk and COOK. STIR often until smooth and thickened.
  4. STIR in salt, peas and pepper.
  5. Continue to COOK until peas are heated through.
May add other herbs and spices as desired.
