Ingredients

  • 2 Acorn squash, halved
  • and seeded
  • ½ t Black pepper
  • 3 T Olive oil
  • ½ t Cinnamon
  • 6 T Brown sugar

Directions

  1. PREHEAT oven to 350˚F.
  2. PLACE a squash in a shallow baking pan, cut side down.
  3. BAKE in a preheated oven for 30 minutes or until tender.
  4. TURN cut side up.
  5. SEASON with pepper, DRIZZLE with olive oil, and SPRINKLE with brown sugar and cinnamon.

Microwave:

  1. PLACE squash in a shallow glass baking dish, cut side down.
  2. PIERCE with a knife, and COOK uncovered for 4 minutes.
  3. SPRINKLE with seasonings and oil and BAKE 4 more minutes.
