  • 1 pkt Pizza yeast
  • 1 t Sugar
  • 1 c Water, warm
  • 1 ¼ c Flour, whole wheat
  • 1 ¼ c Flour
  • ½ t Salt
  • 2 T Olive oil
  • Cooking Spray
  • 4 oz Mozzarella, part skim, shredded
  • 1 Pear, sliced, Bosc variety
  • 3 T Walnuts, chopped
  • 2 ½ oz Gorgonzola cheese, crumble
  • 2 T Chives


  1. PREHEAT oven to 450˚F.
  2. In a medium bowl, DISSOLVE yeast and sugar in warm water.
  3. To the yeast mixture, ADD flours, salt and oil. MIX until smooth.
  4. TURN dough on a lightly floured surface, PAT and ROLL into a rectangle.
  5. SPRAY a 15.25x10.25 in baking sheet with cook-ing spray. TRANSFER crust to baking sheet.
  6. Evenly PLACE mozzarella cheese on crust. TOP with pear slices, walnuts and gorgonzola cheese.
  7. BAKE for 8-10 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is lightly browned.
  8. REMOVE from heat. TOP with chives and SERVE.
*May also use provolone, parmesan, olives, garlic, peppers, turkey pepperoni, or Canadian bacon
