  • 8 oz Spaghetti noodles, whole wheat, uncooked
  • 1 cn Spaghetti sauce, (15 oz)
  • 1 cn Diced tomatoes, drained and rinsed (14.5 oz)
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Egg white
  • 1 c Mozzarella cheese, shredded, part skim, divided
  • ¼ t Black pepper
  • ¼ t Crushed red pepper
  • 1 t Garlic powder
  • 2 t Italian seasoning, divided
  • 34 Turkey pepperoni (cut 17 pepperoni in half)
  • Cooking spray


  1. PREHEAT oven to 425°F.
  2. Cook spaghetti as directed, omitting salt and butter. DRAIN and RETURN to the pot.
  3. RESERVE ¼ c of the sauce and ¼ c of the diced tomatoes and SET aside. ADD the remaining sauce and tomatoes to the spaghetti noodles.
  4. To the noodles/sauce MIX in egg, egg white, ½ c cheese, black pepper, red pepper, garlic powder 1 t Italian seasoning and 17 pepperoni cut in half.
  5. SPRAY a large oven-proof skillet or deep pie dish with cooking spray.
  6. ADD spaghetti mixture and gently press down. TOP with remaining sauce, diced tomatoes. SPRINKLE with 1 t Italian seasoning. TOP with ½ c cheese and remaining pepperoni.
  7. BAKE for 18-20 minutes or until browned.
