Ingredients

  • ½ c Onion, chopped
  • 1 lb Ground beef, lean
  • 1 Garlic clove, minced
  • 1½ c Pasta sauce
  • 1 can Diced tomatoes, rinsed and drained (14.5 oz)
  • ½ T Italian seasoning
  • ⅛ t Black pepper
  • ½ c Bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 c Macaroni noodles, cooked
  • ½ c Cheddar cheese, reduced fat

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, COOK ground beef, onion and garlic on medium-high heat until cooked through.
  2. ADD pasta sauce, diced tomatoes, seasonings, bell pepper and macaroni to the skillet. SIMMER for 7-10 minutes. STIR occasionally.
  3. TOP with cheese and let SIT until melted.
