c = cup, T = tablespoon, t = teaspoon, lb = pound, oz = ounce, fl oz = fluid ounce, pkg = package


  • 1 c Oats, dry
  • ⅓ c Raisins
  • 4 t Brown sugar
  • ¼ c Milk, dry, nonfat
  • ⅓ c Nuts (walnuts or almonds)
  • Water


  1. ADD all ingredients in a zip top plastic bag.
  2. SHAKE to mix and BREAK up brown sugar.
  3. STORE in a cool, dry place.

Microwave directions:

  1. PLACE ½ c oatmeal mixture in a 2 cup micro-wave safe bowl.
  2. ADD ½ - ⅔ c water to oats.
  3. COOK on high for 1 ½ min. STIR at 45 sec.
  4. REMOVE, STIR and let SET for 2 minutes.

Stovetop directions:

  1. BOIL ½ - ⅔ water. STIR in ½ c oatmeal mix.
  2. REDUCE heat to medium and cook 1 min.
  3. COVER with a lid and REMOVE from heat and let SET for 2 minutes.
