c = cup, T = tablespoon, t = teaspoon, lb = pound, oz = ounce, fl oz = fluid ounce, pkg = package


  • 1 Egg
  • 2 Egg whites
  • ¼ c Milk, skim
  • 2 c Cornflakes, crushed (6 c before crushed)
  • ½ t Sugar
  • ½ t Cinnamon
  • 4 sl Bread, whole wheat
  • Cooking spray


  1. WHISK eggs, milk, sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  2. SPREAD the crushed cornflakes on a plate.
  3. DIP each piece of bread in the egg mixture, then PRESS lightly into the cereal, TURNING to coat.
  4. SPRAY a skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium heat.
  5. COOK the coated bread sticks over medium heat, about 4 minutes each side.
  6. CUT each slice into 3 french toast sticks.
