Interests
Teaching and learning new recipes, exploring how families bond over food and finding ways to have fun in the kitchen.
I love being outside whether it is walking my dog, taking care of my plants or traveling to new places and seeing new things. However, when I am inside, you will find me in the kitchen trying new recipes, journaling or pretending to be flexible with yoga. When doing all these things, I always have music in the background.
Inspiration
Growing up in the country, tending to livestock and gardening was a way of life. It was not until I became an adult when I started to understand the need for more nutritional education. As I entered the food industry, my background and childhood became a foundation for my desire to teach, and learn how to love others and myself by what I put on the table.
Why I Love My Job
Getting people excited about the kitchen, what is going into their food and where it comes from makes my heart happy. Through this job, I get to see people of all ages fall in love with healing their mind and bodies through nutrition.
