Ingredients

  • 1 ¾ c Flour, whole wheat
  • 1 ½ c  Flour
  • 1 T Dried herbs or spices*
  • ¾ t Salt
  • ⅓ c Olive oil
  • 1 c Water
*Oregano, sage, rosemary, dill, thyme, red pepper flakes, black pepper, etc.

Directions

  1. PREHEAT oven to 425°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, STIR together the flours, herbs and salt.
  3. POUR in the oil and water and MIX until just blended.
  4. On a lightly floured surface, ROLL out the dough very thin (~ 1/8 in).
  5. PLACE dough on an ungreased baking sheet and MARK squares out with a knife, cutting through.
  6. PRICK each cracker with a fork a few times.
  7. BAKE for 15-20 minutes or until crisp and light brown.
  8. Let the crackers COOL then break apart into squares.
