Ingredients

  • 1 T Olive oil
  • 2 c Pepper and onion mix
  • 3 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 ½ c Mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 ½ t Basil
  • 1 ½ t Oregano
  • ¼ t Black pepper or red pepper
  • 28 oz Crushed tomatoes
  • 6 oz Tomato paste

Directions

  1. HEAT olive oil in a large pot over medium/low heat.
  2. ADD pepper/onion mix, garlic and mushrooms. SAUTÉ for 3-4 minutes until soft.
  3. ADD spices and SAUTÉ 1 minute.
  4. ADD crushed tomatoes and tomato paste. SIMMER on low for 15-20 minutes.
