c = cup, T = tablespoon, t = teaspoon, lb = pound, oz = ounce, fl oz = fluid ounce, pkg = package


  • ⅛ t Salt
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • ¼ c Pine nuts
  • 3 c Basil, fresh
  • ¼ c Olive oil
  • ¼ c Parmesan cheese


  1. WASH hands with soap and water.
  2. Using a food processor MIX garlic, pine nuts, basil salt and 1 tablespoon of oil.
  3. PULSE until ingredients are finely chopped.
  4. With machine running, slowly ADD remaining oil.
  5. ADD parmesan cheese and PULSE to combine.
  6. SERVE with toasted French bread, on top of tomatoes or with pasta.
