c = cup, T = tablespoon, t = teaspoon, lb = pound, oz = ounce, fl oz = fluid ounce, pkg = package


  • 1-2 c Water
  • 1 lb Carrots, baby
  • ½ c Orange juice
  • 1 T Honey
  • 2 t Mustard
  • ⅛ t Pepper
  • 1 c Plums, dried, pitted halved
  • 1 T Margarine


  1. In a large skillet, COVER carrots with water and BOIL.
  2. REDUCE heat to medium and COOK for 10 minutes until crisp tender.
  3. DRAIN and RETURN to skillet.
  4. In a small bowl, WHISK orange juice, honey, mustard and pepper.
  5. ADD orange juice mixture, plums and margarine to carrots.
  6. COVER and COOK on low heat for 5-10 minutes or until sauce has thickened.
