c = cup, T = tablespoon, t = teaspoon, lb = pound, oz = ounce, fl oz = fluid ounce, pkg = package


  • ½ T Margarine
  • 1 pkg Small baby carrots, trimmed and peeled (16 oz)
  • 1 t Honey
  • 1 T Green onion tops
  • 1 c Apple juice, unsweetened


  1. MELT margarine in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. ADD carrots, and SAUTE until carrots begin to brown slightly, about 8 minutes.
  3. ADD apple juice and honey and BRING to a boil.
  4. REDUCE the heat, and SIMMER until carrots are tender and liquid is reduced to a glaze, STIRRING occasionally, about 15 minutes.
  5. TRANSER to serving bowl, COVER with green onion tops and SERVE.
