Ingredients

  • 1 ½ c Cornflakes, crushed
  • ½ t Thyme, dried
  • ½ t Garlic powder
  • ½ t Onion powder
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 Egg whites
  • 1 t Hot sauce, optional
  • 2 T Flour
  • 4 oz Chicken breasts, boneless, skinless

Directions

  1. PREHEAT oven to 350°F.
  2. COAT a shallow baking dish with cooking spray.
  3. COMBINE cornflakes, thyme, garlic powder and onion powder in a bowl.
  4. BEAT egg and egg whites together. ADD hot sauce if desired.
  5. PLACE flour in a separate bowl.
  6. DIP each chicken breast into flour, then egg, then cornflake crumbs.
  7. PLACE chicken breasts in a baking dish, SPRAY with cooking spray.
  8. BAKE 30-35 minutes until brown.
