  • 1 ¾ c Macaroni, whole wheat, dry
  • Cooking spray
  • 2 t Olive oil
  • ¾ c Onion, chopped
  • ½ c Celery, thinly sliced
  • ¼ c Bell pepper, green, chopped
  • 1 ½ c Cream of mushroom soup, lower fat and sodium
  • ½ c Milk, skim
  • 12.5 oz can Chicken, canned, drained and rinsed (6 oz meat)
  • ⅛ t Pepper
  • 1 t Poultry seasoning


  • ⅔ c Cornflakes
  • ¼ t Poultry seasoning
  • 2 t Margarine, melted


  1. COOK macaroni omitting salt and fat. DRAIN and SET aside.
  2. PREHEAT oven to 375˚F. SPRAY an 8x8 dish with cooking spray.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, ADD oil and onion and COOK for 2 minutes.
  4. ADD celery and bell pepper and COOK 3 minutes.
  5. ADD cream of mushroom soup, macaroni, milk, chicken, pepper and poultry seasoning. COOK until heated through then POUR into 8x8 cooking dish.
  6. POUR cornflakes and poultry seasoning into a zip top bag and CRUSH.
  7. ADD margarine and SHAKE. SPRINKLE over chicken.
  8. BAKE for 20-25 minutes then let REST for 10 minutes.
