Interests

Professional Interests:

I enjoy hands-on cooking and nutrition activities with young kids all the way up to older adults. Seeing someone’s excitement when they learn a new skill is one reason I love what I do.

Personal Interests:

I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, traveling and cooking. Anytime the sun is out, I will be outside!

Inspiration

I always loved being in the kitchen with my mom, aunts, grandparents and learning from them. Our family seemed to gather in the kitchen and that is where many family memories were made. In college, I was unsure of what I wanted to do, but after taking a nutrition class I was hooked. I love the science aspect, but also how practical it can be in our everyday lives.

Why I Love My Job

Teaching others how to make small changes, which later turn into big results, is exciting for me. The food we eat and the exercise we do makes a big impact on our lives, and sharing that knowledge with others is priceless.
