Pocket Fruit Pies

2 T. brown sugar

1/2 t. cinnamon

1/8 t. nutmeg, ground

4 tortillas, whole wheat

2 pears, chopped

1/4 c. water

1/2 T. milk, skim

cooking spray

Preheat oven to 350F. In a medium bowl, stir together the brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.  Add pears to sugar mixture.  Warm tortillas in microwave, about 10-15 seconds. Place about 1/2 c. of the fruit on one side of each tortilla.  Brush the edge of each tortilla with water.  Fold tortilla in half, brush the edge with water again and seal the edge with a fork.  Brush tortillas with a light layer of milk. Line baking sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray.  Place pies on baking sheet and bake in the oven for 8-12 minutes or until lightly brown.  Remove from oven and let cool.  Cut each fruit pie in half and serve.
