½ c. margarine
½ c. water
1 c. honey, divided
2 c. whole-wheat flour
1 c. quick cooking oats
½ c. all purpose flour
1 c. peanuts, chopped
½ c. raisins
½ c. pitted prunes, chopped
2 eggs
Preheat oven to 350° F. In a large bowl, combine the whole-wheat flour, all purpose flour and oats. In a separate bowl, mix together the margarine, water and ¾ c. honey, until well blended. Pour into the flour mixture, and stir until combined. Spread evenly in a 9x13 inch metal baking pan. Set aside. In another bowl, beat eggs while gradually pouring in the remaining ¼ c. honey. Stir in peanuts, raisins and prunes until well coated. Spread over the crust in the baking dish. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until center is set, and the top is light lightly browned. Cool completely before cutting to bars.
