Banana Bread

1/4 c. butter, softened

1/2 c. Splenda blend 

1 egg

3 ripe bananas, mashed

1 c. all-purpose flour

1 c.  whole wheat flour

1 t. baking soda

1/4 t. salt

1/4 c. walnuts


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Lightly grease a 8x4 inch loaf pan.  In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar.  Beat in the egg and mashed bananas.  Mix in both types of flour, baking soda, salt, and walnuts just until combined.  Pour into loaf pan.  Bake for 1 hour.  If top begins to brown too quickly, decrease heat slightly.


Makes 10 servings.
